Put your foot down 232
What’s under my foot
Put your foot down 232, a weekly linky party every Thursday. Stop by and share your WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects.
No photo overload today. This week I have been working on a secret sewing project for Jennifer’s (Inquiriing Quilter) upcoming fabric collection with Island Batik. No sharing yet, but I think sometime at the end of April you may start seeing sneak peeks. It is definitely one collection of fabric that online swatches do no justice.
When I chose the fabrics I had a design in mind. After they arrived, seeing how beautiful they really are, another design came to mind. One of Jennifer’s requirements for joining in the fabric release blog hop was to have a pattern available for our quilts and the new design will allow the fabric to be the focus instead of the design.
Next on my list is the Funky Friends Factory. The April Island Batik challenge is to choose one of the FFF patterns. The softie I chose is Crocodile Steve. My grandson and I sing the swinging monkey and crocodile song so he will be perfect, and I thought it was adorable.
Your shares from last week
A Scrappy Quilter shared her quilt labels, I love this idea.
DONNALEEQ shared an old new finish. Her Sunbonnets are adorable.
What’s under your foot?
Visit last week’s Put your foot down 231 to see what everyone shared. It was one of my favorite linkups with all the creativity.
I also ask that somewhere in the post that you are linking up, that you to share a link back to this post. Thank you for joining the linky party!
