What’s under my foot

Welcome back to another Put your foot down, I hope you were able to sew something this past week. It’s supposed to be spring here and I am ready to plant something outside. Before doing that I’d really like to see what existing plants are here. Early spring grape hyacinth began popping up every where in the yard, I can picture Miss Emma (the previous owner) walking around and planting the tiny bulbs. Narcissus in white and yellow line the driveway and a fence behind the house, and a bleeding heart and hosta by the porch.

Last fall we cut down what I believed to be peony and they have emerged. The mimosa trees are still dormant and I await their colorful bloom. Lots of honeysuckle and iris’s too.

Sorry, just a little day dreaming. Instead of participating in nature I have been busy working on St Paddy SAL round 1.
