Join me April 22, 2024- May 22, 2024 for a Saint Paddy sew along, reminiscent of the Emerald Isle. I know, St Patrick’s Day is over, but we can dream and get a jump start for next year. This will be for a paper pieced quilt. You are more than welcome to make all rounds except for the center patchwork style.

Along with the paper pieced templates in each release (except for medallion) I will include cutting dimensions for borders, middle patchwork blocks, and top and bottom checkerboard border.

You will have one week to download the information for each round free. When the new round is published the previous round will no longer be free, but available for purchase. If you don’t want to wait for each round to be available the entire pattern it’s available for purchase here.

There will be a weekly linkup post to share your progress if you like. If you need help linking up, let me know and I will help you.

Quilt Specs

Stop after any round for a wall hanging- 36″, 44″ or 52″.

Lap Quilt- 60″ x 72″.

You will need some paper piecing knowledge, detailed directions not given.

Round release dates

  • April 22: The first round is released, including templates, a coloring sheet, and a block diagram.
  • April 29: Link up your April 22 progress and get the next round of the pattern.
  • May 6: Share your April 29 progress in the linkup and download the next round.
  • May 13: Link up your May 6 progress and access the next round of the pattern.
  • May 22: Return to share your finished quilt in the final linkup! To qualify for the prize, link up your quilt flimsy or completed lap quilt by the end of May 26. (See To Be Eligible for Prize below.) You’ll find the linkup at the bottom of my May 22 post.

Yardage Estimates

Background fabric (solid)- 3 1/4 yard

Collection of green and teal fabric- total 4 yards.

Feel free to substitute with your own colors.
