Whats under my foot

Monday I shared Stu the Sea Turtle as my June Island Batik project. Stu is from Funky Friends Factory and was so easy to make.

And I worked on my second Bloomers quilt. This one is missing the birdhouse and butterfly but will be added soon. Are you sewing along? Do you do in the hoop applique? Can you test a DST format before June 30th? If yes to all, leave me a comment and I will send you an email.

    organize, organize, organize, I’m getting close to being very happy with my space. There are more lights to hang, getting wires under control, and lots of organizing. With all of the storage space I am totally overwhelmed but thinking ahead. Remember those kitchen cabinets I told you about that were left in the home when we bought it? The over head cabinets are being used for AccuQuilt dies, you can see one in the photo below, the rest are under my quilt frame. Then there are the tall cabinets which is great for bolts of fabric. If I decide to keep them they will eventually be painted white because as you can see, I have enough natural wood around me.
