covering the world one quilt at a time

This is my second year participating and again I have chosen our veterans as my charity. My goal is to cover as many Vietnam Vets in my area as possible, before they're gone. Last year I awarded Dan with a quilt I made from the AccuQuilt tumbler and star applique dies.

Put your foot down 217

organize, organize, organize, I'm getting close to being very happy with my space. There are more lights to hang, getting wires under control, and lots of organizing. With all of the storage space I am totally overwhelmed but thinking ahead. Remember those kitchen cabinets I told you about that were left in the home when we bought it? The over head cabinets are being used for AccuQuilt dies, you can see one in the photo below, the rest are under my quilt frame. Then there are the tall cabinets which is great for bolts of fabric. If I decide to keep them they will eventually be painted white because as you can see, I have enough natural wood around me.
