Out of the Dark Blog Hop is the only sign of fall here in the midwest. A few leaves have fallen but we do not have our typical fall display of colors yet. With 80 degree temps it may be too warm for Halloweeners.
Joan from MooseStash Quilting just couldn’t pass up hosting yet another blog hop and I am so thankful to her. For my project I digitized some designs and made a wall hanging. I’d hoped to have a pattern available to offer during the hop but time has not allowed, I’m sure I’ll have one to offer next year.

Witch’s Nook is a bookcase with a bubbling kettle, a bottle of Fish Assholes Whole, Love Potion #6 and #9, Skull & Crossbones, Eye Balls, a broom standing next to the bookcase and books. Oh yes, we cant forget the spiders and spider webs.

Supplies
Scraps of Hobbs Batting, fabric is Island Batik Dots and Doodles, Aurifil for joining my blocks on Elna EF!, embroidery thread (multiple brands) and my Elna 830L, & Schmetz Chrome Needles.

Beautiful and spooky quilt! I love all the details.
Thank you
Love, love love. Throwing together a Halloween quilt for the grandkids, where can I find the witch’s broom. Cool
It’s not available yet, so sorry.
What an amazing creation!. I only dream of machine embroidery. I have the machine, but lack the bravery. Thanks
Oh you should so use the machine. The hardest part for me was determining what stabilizer to use, that is a trial and error.
Oh my goodness, your shelf of potions is just the cutest. Love the Fish Assholes! HAHAHAHA
What a perfect Halloween collection. Haunted Halloween, the glow in the dark thread and witches wear pink are so much fun as well. Thanks for playing along and sharing your ghoulishly fun treats with us.
Thank you Joan. The fish assholes were my hubbies idea, he really doesn’t have a good sense of humor in general. Thank you so much for hosting the hop.
What an amazing quilt! I love all the details and the way it’s off-centered to make room for the broom!
Thank you. I hope to digitize more blocks to add to the pattern and something else for the other side.
Cute, nice work on the digitizing.
Thank you Vicki
What a great quilt! I love the Wear Pink block as well! I love my embroidery machine. I need to have it running more often than I do.
I use my embroidery machines more than I thought I would and I absolutely love to digitize.
Adorable quilt! Love everything about it!
Thank you Karrin
What a fun quilt you made! I love the design and the fabric choices are great. You did a great job designing this!
Thank you so much!
This is so cute, Denise! You are doing a great job with your digitizing! I think Love Potion No 9 is my fave!! Now I will have an ear worm all day! LOL Have a great week.
Lol, one of my sisters loved that too. Are we telling our age or taste in music?
I love your potion quilt and how unique it is. Great job with this creepy creation! I need to use my embroidery machine more often.
Thank you! I love my machine.
Very creative! I’m LOL, r.e. “fish assholes”. I guess that they exist for all species, LOL. Happy Halloween!
Lol, my husbands idea.
Great job on this creepy creation. One block is creepier than the next. I have an embroidery machine but I have never tried to digitize. I love the pink witches for October. Great thought.
Thank you. You can kill so much time digitizing.
Great picture and great quilt. I loved the rounded top of the cupboard, too.
Thank you
Hi Denise, your embroidered quilt is really cute! It looks great in the bookcase. Hope you get a bit of fall weather before winter!
Thank you, me too. Seems we don’t have much of a spring or fall anymore. Winter starts later and ends when it should be spring and then within weeks we move into summer, then winter.
What a fun project! Love it!
Thank you
Is there going to be a pattern a pattern for this “beautiful” Halloween quilt
Yes, I plan to write a pattern for both ITH and applique. At the moment tho I am overwhelmed with to-do’s. Sign up for my newsletter so you will be notified when it’s finally released.
Beautiful quilt. The yellow bonding really suits it well too.
