Put your foot down 300

Put your foot down 300 is a weekly linky party every Thursday. Stop by and share your WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects. Thank you all for returning each week and sharing your projects.

Whats under my foot

Wow, 300 linky parties! Thank you for participating each week, and sharing your inspiration. I couldn’t have done it without you.

Work continues on my crazy quilt for September, here’s a test block I made.

Nancy asked what FSL stood for. The simplest explanation, free standing lace is stitched on an embroidery machine using a wash-away stabilizer. Once the design is finished the piece is rinsed to remove the stabilizer. The FSL below were digitized by someone else and I am currently learning to digitize FSL myself.

Your shares from Put your foot down 299

Quilting Gail shared her August finish for Island Batik, the Oliso bag.

Andrée from Quilting & Learning shared her current embroidery project.

  1. Congratulations on 300 parties. Thank you so much for hosting and we all love your parties. We do appreciate the hard work and dedication it takes to post a weekly party. Thank you!

  2. Hi Denise, congrats on reaching 300 parties! That’s wonderful 🙂 I was also wondering what FSL was – very cool! I’ve done that but with free motion quilting. It can be a lot of fun. Did you FMQ parts of your sampler? Please feel free to link up and thanks for featuring my flower embroideries.
