In our first 2025 box the Ambassadors received an Oliso M3Pro Project Iron with a carry bag. For the August Island Batik challenge we were to bling it out, one problem, I am not a blinging person so this was a real challenge for me.
My first thought was to make some FSL flowers and butterflies and attach them to the bag. But then I thought , “everyone is going to add flowers”.

My husband suggested I make it a hot rod and add wheels and flames, or a garage.
Being the plain Jane person I am none of the suggestions worked for me. I thought about stitching something on the bag with my embroidery machines, the only problem is my hoops that would slide in the bag are tiny.

Then I decided to label the bag. It is afterall a challenge that involves Oliso irons. I used the image on my iron box to digitize an applique to place on my bag, one on each side. Normally I would not do this because of copyright and trademark laws but since it is an Oliso bag and I would never use it on anything else I went for it.

The fabric I used is the light and dark grays from the Island Batik Solids. The lettering and light green on my iron was stitched using a lt green thread from Aurifil and a Schmetz Needle.

I also decided to stitch Oliso on the back flap and it turned out to be a flop, lol. It was so hard holding the bag in place to stitch and I did not pay attention. My Oliso got a little wonky.

I think it looks fantastic! I love how it matches your iron. The digitizing came out amazing. The Oliso on the back looks fine to me. Have a great day!
