Put your foot down 312 is a weekly linky party every Thursday. Stop by and share your WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects. Thank you all for returning each week and sharing your projects.
Whats under my foot
So much since I feel better.
In the evening I have been doing a little crochet, using thread yarn my sister gave to me. It has been more than 20 years since I’ve picked up a crochet or knitting needle and it’s been fun.
The biggest task I have been working on is reorganizing my sewing room and I even pullled out the Juki to work on again. This time I GOT IT FIXED, put in my cabinet and I will be sewing on it soon.

This summer I picked up 3 restaurant tables to use in my room. Until I started reorganizing I placed one of the tops on my cube cutting table. The cubes held most of my AccuQuilt dies but since I was reorganizing I broke the cubes down. The top now sits on a rolling cart (so much easier to roll around). The cart is a good place to store the window unit over the winter, I haven’t come up with a better place for it yet.

The dies were moved to the closet that was holding my fabric in acrylic bins. This makes more sense for the dies. Now I need to decide if I want to sort them by type or block size.
There is still actually cleaning that needs done. This house is very dusty and I knew if I cleaned as I reorganized I’d just be cleaning again.
Adding the restaurant tables allowed me to make a nice U shaped setup and best of all, they are a perfect height for me. All of my machines are on the right and longarm on the left.
Before any more organizing happens I need to decide on storage ideas for under the frame.

It’s looking very organized!!!
It’s still a wip, I have to find something that will slide under the frame.
Hi Denise, you must be feeling better – that is so much work! My studio is so overwhelming that I don’t even want to set foot in it. I brought down my laptop to the dining room so that I could write my post! I’m afraid something has to give…but I’m not sure what! All the best and enjoy your room!
I know exactly what you are saying since I am the same way. After every project I clean up but when I don’t there is avoidance.
