Put your foot down 279 is a weekly linky party every Thursday. Stop by and share your WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects. Thank you all for returning each week and sharing your projects.
Whats under my foot
The largest quilt I have made in a while and it’s almost done. After I sew these two panels together I will add 2 borders for a finish.
The problem (last weeks post) I had with size being a little short on the checkerboard blocks, well, they just needed a good press so it was an easy fix. They were the only blocks not laying flat.

This is the Island Batik fabric I used, I love all the colors and look, it has flying geese. lol. The mini iron from Oliso is pretty awesome too, the only thing it lacks is weight. It is so much lighter that their full size iron but gets just as hot. It also has a little light on the front that shines down on the fabric.

Your shares from last week
Jocelyn from Canadian Needle Nana shared her colorful WIP.

Another colorful WIP from Melva Loves Scraps.

For more inspiration, I invite you to visit last week’s Put your foot down 278 to see what everyone shared. When you participate in the linky party I ask that somewhere in your post you share a link back to this post. Thank you for joining the linky party!

I love the checkerboard, so much fun, the flying geese are too! Happy stitching!
Thank you Gretchen.
Glad all they needed was pressing.
Me too, I can’t believe the easiest fix never occurred to me.
