Put your foot down 317

Put your foot down 317 is a weekly linky party every Thursday. Stop by and share your WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects. Thank you all for returning each week and sharing your projects.

Whats under my foot

My first finish of the new year and Loki. This mini quilts uses the remainder of a half yard cut bundle from Island Batik called Daisy Mae and one of their neutrals. The blocks are made using the Drunkards Path quilt block and the leaves from my Floral Fusion quilt pattern. I hope to have a tutorial for the blocks soon.

I am planning out my year and the top on my list is finding new fabric storage that will fit under my quilt frame. Because I have 4′ knee walls and a low ceiling tall furniture is not an option. Marketplace has offered many ideas.

Second on the list is designing a new website with new colors and layout that will hopefully be more user friendly. It will still feature the weekly linky party every Thursday and sew alongs.

Put your foot down

After 2 weeks of holidays, recovery from being sick, and a little relaxed sewing it’s time to get back to sharing.

For more inspiration, I invite you to visit the last Put your foot down 315 to see what everyone shared. When you participate in the linky party I ask that somewhere in your post you share a link back to this post. Thank you for joining the linky party!

Welcome to another episode of Put your foot down. It’s been a full and bumpy week in my neck of the woods. First, we’ve had another round of storms and more coming. My home sits on top of a hill yet the yard is still soggy, how does that happen, lol?

Over the weekend I finished my Island Batik March Challenge, with the help of Loki. Of course he couldn’t stay off of the quilt while I was adding the binding. It is also my finish for the Give it a Whirl blog hop hosted by Carol at Just Let Me Quilt.
