Tis the season for the most spectacular reveal from mother nature since spring, the explosion of fall colors on the limestone bluffs along the Mississippi River. Clear night skies with bright twinkling stars finish off the days. This is what Twilight reminds me of, fall.
Put your foot down 257, a weekly linky party every Thursday. Stop by and share your WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects. Thank you all for returning each week and sharing your projects.
Put your foot down 256. Well, I finally feel like I am accomplishing something. The quilt for the Twilight Blog Hop is complete, I just need to take photos and write a post. The Island Batik/ByAnnie project for Octover is finally on my table and I hope to have it complete by the end of the weekend.
Welcome to my stop in the Flower Pot Blog Hop hosted by Jennifer at Inquiring Quilter. Flower Pot is one of the new collection from Island Batik, designed by Kathy Engle for Jennifer. Ask for it in shops now, use the IB Store Locator, or use the Fabric Finder to search by collection.
We’re reaching the end of filling our garden, I hope you have enjoyed the sew along. Next week I will share a border block with you, all flower gardens need a border right?
Put your foot down 255. This week I am working on the quilt for Twilight Blog Hop featuring the newest collection by Create with Claudia. Twilight is a 20 sku collection of rich golds and blue, it’s currently shipping to shops.
Today’s Block 4 and 5 release brings a little relief. You will only have one applique block to make and some cutting. If you have previously downloaded the Block Cutting list you wont even have cutting to do.
Making progress on last weeks list. This evening I will start on the Twilight Blog Hop quilt because it will take longer than the other two items on the list. My loft will be in total shambles by the time all are finished.
Week 5 in the sew along features a couple more larger flowers to show off your fabric. How is it going so far? Are you keeping up or doing some relaxed sewing and sipping?
