Whats Under My Foot

Snow, and lots of it. This is standing on the front porch, the snow blows bad in the front. The backyard is protected from wind and the snow comes straight down and accumulated to 12″ over sleet. Freshly fallen snow is beautiful, and I love sewing and looking out the window to see snow covered trees.
2025 Island Batik Ambassadors
I’m honored to have been accepted as an 2025 Island Batik Ambassador, my 7th year. One of the new challenges this year will definitely take me way out of my comfort zone. You can see the list w/links of all the 2025 Ambassadors here.

You have quite a pastoral view out your window!!! I’m looking forward to seeing what you make for IB this year!
I love it
Your snow is beautiful, Denise!! We may get a little on Friday/Saturday, which will be great for the kiddos and they have already called a snow day for school on Friday. We usually get more ice than snow and with ice underneath, even a half inch can shut us down for a day or so. As much as you have, we would be shut down for a week!!! Whatever we get, this old gal will be staying inside and enjoying the view! LOL Have a great rest of your week!
Believe me, I have been hibernated. Going out for the first time today, dentist appt.
Yikes — your snow is beautiful but lots! The greater DC area has pretty much been shut down (well, mostly schools) since Monday. More snow is predicted but shouldn’t cause more shut downs. Thanks for featuring my quilt this week.
You’re welcome. We still have snow on the ground in the form of ice now. Spring is almost here!
