Put your foot down 224-linky party
Put your foot down 224, a weekly linky party every Thursday for you to share your quilt WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects.
What’s under my foot
This week I have been working overtime on my Island Batik log cabin quilt. My day to share is Feb 22nd and I realized I forgot to untick scaling in the printer settings. Some of my blocks are 1/2″ too small, here are just a few blocks I need to remake. I’m actually relieved though, because after looking at the photo just now I see the leaves are upside down.
The large block is nice, but I wasn’t feeling it anyway so I will be making a different log cabin block to replace it. Goes to show you sometimes your mistakes are for the best.
The Island Batik blog hop started this week and let me tell you, there are some gorgeous collections coming to shops this month. Drop by the Island Batik Blog for ambassador links and schedule to all the stops in the hop. While you are there enter (before Friday) for the fabric giveaway and don’t forget to go back each week during the hop for more great giveaways.

Sorry you had a mistake but I’m glad you have a plan B! I’m looking forward to seeing your quilt, happy stitching!
Lol, I am liking the mistake this time. My replacement block is so much better. Thank you for linking up today.
Hi Denise, good luck with your log cabin quilt. I hope that the second try goes better! Have a great weekend.
