Whats under my foot
Welcome back to another Put your foot down, I’m looking forward to seeing what you have worked on this past week. Under my foot this week is the Saint Paddy SAL, round 3. I am a little behind since my dear grandson gifted us with one nasty cold but we are on the mend. You can read more about the SAL information here, Round 1 here, and Round 2 here.
The wind just about carried my flimsy off. We’ve had strong storms, rain and a lot of wind, together and separate. The fabric is The Grove designed by Kathy Engle for Island Batik. You should start seeing it in quilt shops this month, if not, ask for it. It is a beautiful collection of green and teal fabric. The black is Island Batik Black Solid and really makes the colors pop.
In addition, warm air and humidity reminded me of the squirrel infestation in the attic cove prior to their eviction when we moved in. I thought I had the smell under control after having an air purifier in there for 6 months. More extreme measures are in order! As much as I dislike the smell of bleach the wood will have to be sprayed well with it since vinegar and the purifier didn’t help. Any other suggestions?
Your shares from last week
