Whats under my foot
- Any day in October-Island Batik project featuring a pattern from ByAnnie. Working.
- Oct 14-Twilight Blog Hop. New collection from Create with Claudia. Done!
- Oct 23-Wicked Blog Hop with Just Let Me Quilt. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
Well, I finally feel like I am accomplishing something. The quilt for the Twilight Blog Hop is complete, I just need to take photos and write a post.
The Island Batik/ByAnnie project for October is finally on my table and I hope to have it complete by the end of the weekend. The pattern I chose is The Write Stuff, a notebook cover in 3 sizes. ByAnnie is a generous sponsor of the Island Batik Ambassador program and each year they send us everything we need to complete the pattern of our choice.

For the Wicked Blog Hop I have loads of ideas and narrowing it down to just one has proven more difficult that I’d imagined. Halloween is the perfect time of year to show your creativity and when my son was young I went all out. I even had a skeleton that appeared in my flower garden when everything died out.
Monday I shared the Butterflies and Flowers quilt I made for the Flower Pot Blog Hop hosted by Jennifer of the Inquiring Quilter, see that post here. Enter for a chance to win a pattern in the post.

I think your butterflies and flowers quilt is just beautiful! I hope piecing the notebook cover is a nice change from piecing quilts. Happy stitching!
Thank you Gretchen. The notebook cover actually requires some thought and reading, lol.
Thank you so much for the feature.
