Put your foot down 283 is a weekly linky party every Thursday. Stop by and share your WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects. Thank you all for returning each week and sharing your projects.
Whats under my foot
This week I have been working on my Island Batik May challenge quilt. The 10″ Irish Chain die from AccuQuilt made cutting all the patches so much faster than cutting by hand which is great. It has been a struggle though trying to come up with a plan, mainly finding a 10″ block to pair with the Irish Chain block. I’ve pretty much decided to go with a traditional quilt.

This is where I am so far, my blocks are partially made. I think I have used all but a few of sku’s from the Serenity Collection by Island Batik. My chain blocks are all going to be teal. There are more blocks to sew and decisions to be made.

Your shares from Put your foot down 282

I absolutely love this mini from Anne-Marie of Stories from the Sewing Room.
Nancy from Grace and Peace had the privilege to quilt these from maker Lynn. Love the quilt designs she chose on each one.

Me too, the entire collection is so calming.
Your fabrics are very pretty for the Irish chain quilt. I look forward to viewing the finish, happy stitching!

Ooooh! Those fabrics are gorgeous. Can’t wait to see the finish. Thanks for sharing my mini. 🙂
Love you mini! The fabric, I did not want to cut into it for this project.
Hi Denise, I hope that the Irish Chain goes easier than those circles! Looking forward to seeing your finish. Thanks for the linking party! Take care.
Oh you know the Irish Chain is going together much easier, such pleasant sewing. Thank you for always linking up.
