Welcome to my stop in the Fall Flair Blog Hop hosted by Jennifer Fulton at Inquiring Quilter. The hop is to showcase her latest Island Batik Signature Collection Fall Flair.
Fall Flair is a beautiful 20 sku collection that is reminiscent of a rural midwest fall with beautiful shades gold, and blue. The collection has me craving tree ripened apples and the smell apple crisp baking in the oven. The collection is available now in shops.
Thank you Jennifer for inviting me to join the hob and play with the gorgeous fabric. Would you like to win a fat quarter collection? Visit Jennifer’s blog to enter the giveaway, good luck.

The fabrics I chose for my table topper are from left to right-Leaves, Birch and Cornsilk. You can start looking for Fall Flair in shops this month available in 2 1/2″ strips, 10″ stack, fq bundles and yardage. Cornsilk is from the Island Batik Foundation Collection and available throughout the year. If you don’t have a local quilt shop you can use the IB Fabric Finder to locate a shop where you can find it. To find shops near you who stocks Island Batik you can use their Store Locator.

My blocks for the topper are a 9″ Friendship Star with different fabric placement that gives an interesting, almost Celtic appearance.

Hobbs Heirloom® Premium 100% Natural Cotton inside defines the heavy quilting better than I thought it would. I wanted a flattened runner to keep anything placed on it to remain upright.

I absolutely love my finish and Fall Flair.

You’ve chosen the perfect fabrics from this collection for your runner and the matchstick quilting really gives it a modern vibe. Thank you for the generous pattern!

I love your choice of colors and this pattern is gorgeous. It would be fun in so many colors and it is reminiscent of ribbons or celtic knots! I did download it as I love a quick table runner!
Yes, I told a friend I thought it would be gorgeous with a scrappy finish. It is a quick design. Thank you Kathleen.
