Put your foot down 276 is a weekly linky party every Thursday. Stop by and share your WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects. Thank you all for returning each week and sharing your projects.
Whats under my foot
This week I am working on the March Island Batik challenge. Last week in Put your foot down I shared a couple 9 patch blocks that would become this checkerboard. The checkerboard block is a little off and I’m not sure what I did it’s almost a 1/2 off which means I need to do a little backtracking.

The block on the right is a border block, and the block below will be a cornerstone. Don’t you love how quilt blocks look so distorted in photos? Usually it’s the finished quilt photos distorted from the wind outside.

I love these two projects from Joyful Journey.
Pinker n Punkin shared her Wild Roses. Seeing them reminds me spring is on the way.
Island Batik projects
February is a blog hop month for Island Batik Ambassadors and we share the new fabric collections hitting shop. Fellow IBA’s Gail and Preeti shared their finishes last week. Visit the Island Batik blog to see the weekly round up for a 3 weeks of the hop.

For more inspiration, I invite you to visit last week’s Put your foot down 275 to see what everyone shared. When you participate in the linky party I ask that somewhere in your post you share a link back to this post. Thank you for joining the linky party!

Thank you for choosing my photo as one featured this week! I do enjoy seeing what others are working on!
You’re welcome, so glad you found us. Thank you for linking up!
So pretty, Denise. I look forward to seeing that finish!
Thanks Brenda. It wont take long as soon as I figure out what I did wrong on the checkboard blocks or border strips.
Oh, so frustrating when the pieces don’t line up like you thought. I had to laugh when you mentioned the blocks looking distorted in photos. That always happens to me.
lol. I may have cut my strips incorrectly, I’ll know for sure this weekend.
Hi Denise, I’m looking forward to seeing your finish 🙂 Take care.
Thank you Andrée
