Put your foot down 230

Whats under my foot

Put your foot down 230, a weekly linky party every Thursday. Stop by and share your WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects.

Monday I shared my Island Batik March challenge, aka Give it a whirl finish. You can see that post here.

Work continues in my sewing room. Saturday I started tearing things apart and moving everything, had a pretty good mess. When moving my AQ dies to their new home I bent over to pick them up and busted my head open on the corner of an Ikea cube. Sunday and Monday I pretty much did nothing but nurse a head ache. The organization should be completed for next week’s Put your foot down.

There were so many great shares last week which made it difficult to narrow it down to just two projects. Finally I decided to share two full size finishes. Please, visit last weeks linkup to see them all.

Look at this beauty from Gretchen’s Little Corner, WOW! It’s beautiful Gretchen.

These are my colors from Stories From the Sewing Room. Anne-Marie did a fabulous job completing this just in time for spring.

  1. Thank you for highlighting my flimsy from last week. Sorry about your headache, it sounds like a doozy. Hopefully there is no longterm effect. Your Give it a Whirl quilt is so pretty, happy stitching!

    1. Thank you, just a big nasty scab now. I’ve never had a wound that the wind caused pain until now. Turns out blowing hair can be painful.

  2. Sorry about your head wound. Will be looking forward to seeing your room. Thanks for sharing my quilt.

    1. Thank you, I am. It was really sore, and going out in the wind ouch. When the wind blew my hair it almost felt as bad as when I hit it.
