Put your foot down 294 is a weekly linky party every Thursday. Stop by and share your WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects. Thank you all for returning each week and sharing your projects.
Whats under my foot
Monday I released the quilt directions for Bloomers and I am so excited about the applique releases.
Also on Monday I released the full fusible applique pattern for those who would rather purchase the pattern now instead of sewing along the next 5 months for free.
In addition, Bloomers is available as an ITH applique pattern, I know, I am so exited about it. You will need a 6×10 hoop and the formats are limited to those that have been tested, VIP, PES, JEF, EXP. If you have an embroidery machine that accepts a format not shown and you’d be interested in testing it for me please let me know in the comments.
The ITH pattern includes the pattern for the quilt itself, as well as all applique blocks.
The August challenge for Island Batik Ambassadors is decorating our Oliso Project Iron carry bag. I am brain dead, this is a tough challenge for me. Oh, July is box opening videos, mine is coming soon.

Canadian Needle Nana shared progress on her string quilt.
I am in love with this quilt from Scrapbox Quilts.

For more inspiration, I invite you to visit last week’s Put your foot down 293 to see what everyone shared. When you participate in the linky party I ask that somewhere in your post you share a link back to this post. Thank you for joining the linky party!

Bloomers is such an exciting release, Denise! Maybe you can use some carryover from your Bloomers design to decorate your iron carry bag. Just a thought…
I’m not sure a fusible attaches well to felt, I’ll have to look into that.
Hi Denise, maybe you can just add pretty flowers and embroidery on your ironing bag…or does it have to be very different? Good luck!
The bag would need to come apart for machine embroidery because I don’t have the finger strength for a needle. I may have to suffer through it though,
