Put your foot down 243
Put your foot down 243, a weekly linky party every Thursday. Stop by and share your WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects.
Whats under my foot
At the moment I am all caught up with IBA challenges, until the new box of goodies arrive sometime next week. I’m really enjoying some relaxed sewing for the “Something Smells Fish Blog Hop” hosted by Carol at Just Let Me Quilt.
There is a lot of rotary cutting for that quilt. Fortunately I have an AQ die to cut HST’s because there are 98 of them in the quilt. I’m making a t-shirt quilt, not the type you are thinking. In EQ8 I drew up a t-shirt block or at least what I think resembles a t-shirt.
Monday I shared my finish for the Prisms blog hop hosted by Create with Claudia. Prisms is her Signature Collection with Island Batik and it is gorgeous. You can see more about that quilt here and grab a free download of the block I used for the quilt.

Brenda from Songbird Designs shared her Create for a Cause finish. You should also see this finish.
Gretchen from Gretchen’s Little Corner also shared a charity quilt called Dots and Dashes. I don’t know if I could part with this one, it’s so pretty.

I ask that somewhere in the post you are linking to that you to share a link back to this post. Thank you for joining the linky party!
I always think you IB ambassadors must be under pressure to keep up with the projects you have to make for Island Batik. It’s nice you get to sew for fun since you’re caught up. Thank you for highlighting one of my quilts. Happy stitching!
For sure! Deciding what to make is the hardest part for the challenges, especially if there is a specific fabric bundle we have to use.
