Put your foot down 277 is a weekly linky party every Thursday. Stop by and share your WIP’s, UFO’s, finishes, or any fiber arts projects. Thank you all for returning each week and sharing your projects.
What’s under my foot
I’m still ripping stitches on my current quilt trying to figure out what I did wrong that caused my checkerboard blocks to come up short.
Today is also my reveal for the Meadow Hues blog hop hosted by Claudia. It is also doubling as my IBA “It’s All Up To You” March challenge. You can read more about my Cathedral Star quilt here and see its finish. I think Loki has been missing being a model for quilts, he was so excited to hop on. Loki approved!

The April Island Batik challenge is Drunkards Path, I have a love hate relationship with that block.
Your shares from Put your foot down 276

A Scrappy Quilter shared this beautiful Log Cabin quilt.
Anne-Marie of Stories from the sewing room shared her beautiful Marble Mystery quilt.

Fellow IBA, Brenda from Songbird Designs shared her runner from the Island Batik Runner Up blog hop.

For more inspiration, I invite you to visit last week’s Put your foot down 276 to see what everyone shared. When you participate in the linky party I ask that somewhere in your post you share a link back to this post. Thank you for joining the linky party!

Your cathedral windows quilt is lovely! I can’t wait to see how you quilt it, happy stitching!
The finish was also posted today in a separate post. Thank you for always joining Put your foot down.
Hi Denise, it’s so nice to see that Loki approves. He has great taste. Good luck with the Drunkard path – I’ve never tried…and probably won’t! Thanks for the party.
Lol, I totally understand.
That drunkard’s path quilt looks amazing! Love the color and the design.
Can’t wait to see how you quilt it. It’s gonna be gorgeous. I’m also looking forward to hearing more about the Drunkard’s Path project. I feel like I really need to work on curved sewing because it’s EVERYWHERE right now. Thanks for sharing my quilt.
Curved piecing isn’t on the top of my to-do list so it will be interesting.
