Whats under my foot

Still working on my sewing room. First I added a pegboard that I may or not keep. If I decide to keep it I will either paint it or put peel and stick paper on it. To hang the hoops I cut up the only metal hanger in the house to make temporary hooks. Don’t knock it till you try it, lol. Do you have any diy suggestions for pegboard hooks?
To store my rulers… For years I have collected yard sticks and have finally put some to use. The top part is 5 yard sticks with a decoupage gold frame around them. To hang the rulers I put some finishing nails in the yardstick, but will switch them out with hooks as soon as I have a list of everything I need from the hardware store. Because this is hanging on the slanted wall, another ruler was added below to keep the rulers against the wall. Just lift up and the ruler comes right off. For the shorter rulers I need to do some thinking.
Now I am working on a trash can, yes a trash can.
