Floral Fusion blocks 3 & 6

Week 5 in the sew along features a couple more larger flowers to show off your fabric. How is it going so far? Are you keeping up or doing some relaxed sewing and sipping?

Products used in this project
Block 3
Block 3 (make 1) is another block that will take a little time to cut out all those points in the flower head. You may choose to add both center circles or make it your own by adding stitching instead of the circles, or using only one circle.
Cutting
Cut 1 ( 8 1/2″ x 8 1/2″) square. Or…
Cut 4 (4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ ) squares and sew together to make one. Press seams well.
If you have followed the Cutting Directions sheet, disregard cutting additional background fabric.
Block 6
Block 6 (make 4) is a smaller version of block 3. Please note-the leaves are not block 7, they are part of the block 6 design.
Cutting
Cut 1 ( 8 1/2″ x 8 1/2″) square. Or…
Cut 4 (4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ ) squares and sew together to make one. Press seams well.
