Lunar Glow Blog Hop

Lunar Glow

Lunar Glow is the newest Signature Collection Designed by Jerry Khiev for Create with Claudia. There are 20 sku’s and pair very well with Island Batik White Solid or their Neutral Foundations. For 10 days pattern designers will be sharing their finishes using sampling that Claudia sent to us. Today is my day to share during the blog hop and I will be sharing just a few of each color.

This is a beautiful collection and anyone who loves combining green and purple, this one is for you. Ask for it in shops, available in yardage and pre-cuts. If you would like to enter to win a half yard cut bundle visit Claudia’s blog.

I played with several straight layouts turning this lovely block in different directions, I call it Vintage Rose. It was clear after I finished making blocks that an on point layout was best.

Lunar Glow is such a beautiful collection that left me wishing I’d requested more fabric for a much larger quilt. I really love the contrast between the purple and green fabrics and the balance they provided for my quilt.

The weather had been horrible while I was working on the quilt with sub-zero temps, and snow that would not go away. Then we had rain and temps in the mid 70’s. Once the weather cleared I took advantage of a sunny day for photos.

By far the best shot that reveals the true colors in Lunar Glow.

Pattern

Would you like to win a Vintage Rose block pattern, applique or ITH? At this time I do not have a full quilt pattern, but I do have a fusible applique and in the hoop block patterns. Leave a comment telling me which pattern you prefer and 2 winners will be chosen at random. Winner will be announced and notified by me on Thurs 3-26 during my linky party Put your foot down.

  1. Hi Denise, what a gorgeous quilt! The on-pint blocks really make it stand out. Congrats on a wonderful finish.
