Sorry for the late post, I have had a very busy day at work and preoccupied. I have been working on a t-shirt quilt, patchwork t-shirt blocks. In a couple of weeks I will share a free download for the block pattern.

For the collar I used a binding tool and glued it down for stitching. I can’t wait to share this one with you.

    We’ve been in the new home for 6 months and I’ve just about got everything organized. The area under the open staircase had been the catch all for things needing to be placed in it’s forever home and I finally tackled it Friday.

  • Crocodile Steve-Funky Friends Factory

    This month Island Batik teamed up with Funky Friends Factory to challenge the Island Batik Ambassadors. We were allowed to choose a pattern for the softie and I chose Crocodile Steve. This has been both fun and challenging. Challenging because there are a lot of curved pieces in this pattern and fun because it brought back happy times of my son growing up while stitching.

    The challenge for this month was to make a lap size or larger quilt using the surprise collection we received in box 1 back in January.

  • Floral Fusion Blocks 1 & 9

    Floral Fusion Sew Along is in it’s second week and today I have 2 new blocks for you, block 1 and 9. I hope you like them. I have finally decided on a border for a 45″ x 50″ finished quilt and am currently working on it now.
