Whats under my foot
This week I am working on the March Island Batik challenge. Last week in Put your foot down I shared a couple 9 patch blocks that would become this checkerboard. The checkerboard block is a little off and I’m not sure what I did it’s almost a 1/2 off which means I need to do a little backtracking.
The block on the right is a border block, and the block below will be a cornerstone. Don’t you love how quilt blocks look so distorted in photos? Usually it’s the finished quilt photos distorted from the wind outside.

Thanks Brenda. It wont take long as soon as I figure out what I did wrong on the checkboard blocks or border strips.
Oh, so frustrating when the pieces don’t line up like you thought. I had to laugh when you mentioned the blocks looking distorted in photos. That always happens to me.
lol. I may have cut my strips incorrectly, I’ll know for sure this weekend.
