Making progress on last weeks list. This evening I will start on the Twilight Blog Hop quilt because it will take longer than the other two items on the list. My loft will be in total shambles by the time all are finished.

In my search I came across some funny word designs and immediately I knew I had to find a clever way to use them. It hit me, a t-shirt quilt since many of the designs I imagined on t-shirts. So I drew up a patchwork t-shirt block and started stitching.
July 1st I received shipment 2 for the 2024 Island Batik Ambassador program and the boxes are still sitting in my sewing room unopened. Before the end of the week though I plan to get these boxes opened and be wowed.

The Economy Block is a traditional patchwork block that makes beautiful scrappy quilts or a single block made large enough for a baby quilt. They’re also great fill blocks or quilt samplers.
Today is my second appt this week to the dentist, yuck. I have been making progress with projects and finally finished the organization in my sewing room.
Yesterday I shared my For the Birds/Create for a Cause quilt. With this finish I discovered I really do love improv quilting and learned to accept sometimes the block placements do not always work.
The challenge for this month was to make a lap size or larger quilt using the surprise collection we received in box 1 back in January.
Monday I published the final round of the Saint Paddy SAL, there have been a lot of downloads but so far, no one has shared in that linkup. I sure hope there are winners for the giveaways.
