July delivers new boxes for the 2025 Island Batik Ambassador year. Island Batik sends its Ambassadors 2 shipments a year to use for monthly challenges that includes fabric, and products from industry partners.
Products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge. As an Island Batik Ambassador I receive two shipments a year filled with beautiful Island Batik fabric. Included in these shipments are products from industry partners Hobbs Batting, Schmetz Needles, Deb Tucker Studio 180 Designs, Aurifil Thread, Oliso Irons, Funky Friends Factory, ByAnnie, and AccuQuilt.

Both boxes always contain a wrapped Surprise with fabrics that have not been released yet. This will be revealed in the November blog hop.

Island Batik has the best solids. Their solids are of the same quality as their dyed fabrics and are available in 14 colors that can be purchased throughout the year.

Frosted Foliage by Tiffany Hayes, Needle in a Hayes Stack. This collection will be used in September. It will ship to shops in Aug/Sept 2025.

Fabrics to be used in my byAnnie project.

Stash Builders are amazing. Each package contains 2.8 yards of various color strips that are 5″ by wof.

Gradations bundles are from the Island Batik Basics line. They are available in 10″ Stacks and 2 1/2″ Strips, I’ve also seen them available in FQ bundles, and can be purchased individually as yardage. Basics can be purchased throughout the year.

Neutrals are available in 20 different prints and can be purchased throughout the year. This is Glaze and I really like the pale green dots that decorate the white fabric.

Colorburst by Jerry Khiev for Heidi Pridemore of The Whimsical Workshop. Shipping to shops in Aug/Sept 2025. What a beautiful rainbow of colors.

A selection from the Foundations line that includes Solids, Basics, Blenders and Neutrals. All available throughout the year.
Industry Partners
Hobbs Batting and Aurifil Thread are long time Industry Partners and are very generous to the Ambassadors.

Hobbs Tuscany Collection is top of the line, I love the 100% Wool batting. But I think my favorite is their Tuscany 100% Cotton, bleach or unbleached.

The Heirloom Fusible is the best for ITH projects. Because it’s fusible it eliminates the need for an adhesive spray and unless your design is extremely dense in stitching you don’t need a stabilizer.

Poly-Down, oooh, another favorite of mine, I love this batting for baby quilts. They also have a Poly-Down fiberfill that is amazing and it doesn’t have dandruff like others.

The Heirloom 80/20 Cotton has a little more loft than their 100% Cotton batting. Also a favorite of mine for baby quilts.

I’ve been an Aurifil user for years. Mostly I use the 50wt thread in a neutral shade for sewing and Forty3 on my longarm. There is a great selection of colors and perfect for machine embroidery too.
Thank you Island Batik/Lumin Fabric, Aurifil Thread, Hobbs Batting and byAnnie for another great box of goodies.

Lots of beautiful fabrics!!! I look forward to them coming to life!
