    Welcome to the 3rd round of the Saint Paddy sew along. By now you center medallion (shamroks) should be completed as well as the inside border. If you haven’t removed the papers from your shamrock block’s now is a good time.

    May’s Island Batik challenge is a blog hop, so be sure to follow along for fabric and goodies giveaways. For months I’ve been debating on a design and have finally settled on one earlier this week. The collection IB sent to me for the hop is The Grove, a beautiful collection of greens and teals reminiscent of the Emerald Isle.

  • Crocodile Steve-Funky Friends Factory

    This month Island Batik teamed up with Funky Friends Factory to challenge the Island Batik Ambassadors. We were allowed to choose a pattern for the softie and I chose Crocodile Steve. This has been both fun and challenging. Challenging because there are a lot of curved pieces in this pattern and fun because it brought back happy times of my son growing up while stitching.
